Anne Oechtering
Librarian and Open Science advisor
About me
A librarian (and cultural historian) by training, I advise researchers, teachers and the organisation at the PThU on matters Open Science, from grant proposals to developing new policies and infrastructure
Experience
With 20+ years of experience in providing access to knowledge across libraries, museums, and archives, I am deeply committed to fostering research and learning environments that are open, accessible, and inclusive. My career has been driven by the belief that libraries play a crucial role in creating an equitable society, offering a space where individuals can freely explore, engage with, and build new knowledge. Supporting the development of Open Science is the logical and necessary next step in safeguarding and improving open and continuous access to information, data and knowledge.
