Research activities (Meta-research):

• Current work: TREASURE institutional pilot (https://www.uc.pt/en/iii/treasure/) to test new approaches to research assessment: (a) opt-in interdisciplinary training and certification program targeting early-stage researchers - master's and PhD students - recognizing and rewarding students who implement research performed with rigor, shared transparently and towards reuse in their thesis; (b) the project aims to test if offering incentives for actual implementation of diverse reproducible, reusable and open research (RROR) practices/outputs produces changes in the research that is actually performed, contributing to research culture changes valueing quality and impact from a wider variety of research parctices, activities and outputs.

Research activities (Psychology-Neuroscience):

• Education and PhD: work with neurological disorder patients in implicit and explicit memory projects, combining neuropsychological and experimental psychology components; experimental paradigms investigating neural correlates of stimuli carrying affective content (visual processing)
• Postdoctoral: work on social cognition, decision-making and value-based decision-making; measurement of affective states and relation with decision-making processes
