Policy Adviser at the European Research Council
About me
I'm a Policy Adviser at the European Research Council Executive Agency (ERCEA) in Brussels, in the unit that provides support to the ERC Scientific Council.
Experience
My work as Policy Adviser at the ERCEA focuses on the policy and strategy related aspects of Open Science, including issues related to Research Assessment. I closely interact with my counterparts at the European Commission and am in regular contact with other research funders, with publishers and with other stakeholders across Europe. Before joining the ERCEA in 2012, I worked for three years as Policy Officer for the European Commission’s DG Research and Innovation on issues related to researcher mobility and careers. I hold a PhD in mathematics from the University of Heidelberg.
