  Dear all,

  Hereby the presentation given as introduction to the world café tables. About the research management profession, current national, European and global developments and ARMA-NL.

  ARMA-NL is the Association for Research Managers & Administrators in the Netherlands. It aims to enhance excellent and impactful research & innovation in the Netherlands, by supporting and building the capacity of Research Managers and Administrators (RMAs) in their profession.

  Currently, within the European Research Area there are major developments to strengthen the capacity for research management. The definition, sub-types. competences, profiles, training needs, recognition, capacity building needs, a value proposition and a career development framework are being determined and worked on. The EC will publish relevant outputs and recommendations to Member States.

  We want to thank all the participants of the workshop. A lot of valuable input was given during this interactive R&R workshop. The input will be taken along in different outputs. More info later...
