Dear collegue,

We hope our brand-new visualisation will shed fresh and inspiring light on the state of affairs in the realm of Recognition & Rewards. Last week, we announced that we’d like to share a few insights and practical, thought-provoking tips with you to help kick-start the movement we hope to set in motion with this visualisation. Here they are. In this newsflash, you’ll find links to five ways to put the visuals into practice, an interview with designer Lana Klok and, of course, a call to share ♻️.

'If everyone can do what they do best, we can achieve much more together'

Strategic designer Lana Klok loves to get her hands dirty with complex organisational challenges. During discussions with the national programme team, she was delighted by the garden metaphor as a way of illustrating the scope of Recognition & Rewards. She also believes the image reveals that this is an ongoing process. ‘We want academics to engage in dialogue with one another.’ Read our interview with Lana Klok here (in Dutch, a translation will follow later this week).

How can you effectively engage academics with our visualisation?

For those looking for a bit of inspiration, we’ve put together five tips to help academics in the workplace get their feet wet or dive headfirst into the fresh produce of the scientific cycle of the future. Here they are (in Dutch, a translation will follow later this week).
