Hieronder vinden jullie een belangrijke mail over de Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA). Bekijk vooral ook even de links als je interesse hebt in het participeren in de Steering Board van dit internationale initiatief.
Dear Madam, dear Sir,
On 13 October, the European University Association and Science Europe hosted the fourth stakeholder assembly meeting of the reforming research assessment initiative. We were delighted that more than 200 participants were able to join and provided valuable feedback on the proposed governance and operations of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA). Based on the input received, the governance documents have now been finalised. You can find them at the following links: the Governance document, the Rules of Procedure for Chair, Vice-Chairs, and Steering Board, the Rules of Procedure for Working Groups, and the Code of Conduct for the future Coalition.
Please also kindly note that we have officially launched yesterday the calls for candidacies for the position of CoARA Chair, Vice-Chairs and other Steering Board members. We encourage all prospective CoARA member organisations to nominate candidates for these positions. More information about the application procedure can be found on the CoARA website.
We remind you that organisations can sign the Agreement and join the coalition at any point. However, only those having signed the Agreement by 17 November will be invited to participate in the Constitutive Assembly of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA), which will take place online on 1 December 2022. The registration link and preliminary agenda for this full-day meeting will be shared in due time with eligible organisations.
Finally, we also take this opportunity to share with you the slides that were presented during the fourth stakeholder assembly meeting.
We thank you for your participation and engagement, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate with you in the next steps toward the development and implementation of the Coalition.
Kind regards,
European University Association
